| More information Drawing with Colour at Finca Las Nuevas, Andalucia.
17 - 24 May 2008 £695 (single supplement £100)
Finca las Nuevas is a traditional 200 year old restored farm house in a peaceful rural location high above the bustling little town of Álora. It also has three fully catered and tastefully decorated houses with terraces from which to contemplate and draw the endless views.
May is the ideal month to enjoy the abundant poppies and other wild flowers in pleasant temperatures surrounded by evergreen oaks and carob trees. We will make trips in our own minibus (with packed lunches) to exciting drawing locations in the local area such as the dramatic El Chorro Gorge on the Guadalhorce river, a secret hermitage and the beautiful natural park of El Torcal.
This week can be treated as a week on its own for building drawing and colour skills with fun exercises, or it can be used as a continuation of the previous Mijas week, where you can rise to the challenge of drawing with paint in a secure and friendly environment. It suits all levels. Our theme will be nature itself on a small scale, looking at the details around us, while looking also at the bigger picture of the patterns and lines revealed in the landscape.
There will also be time to relax at the Finca, and have a dip in the solar heated swimming pool. Massages are also available so please ask. Included in your holiday is a trip to either Álora or Málaga, depending on the group’s requirement.
